Games
I make games sometimes and post them on Itch.io. Here you'll see me talk about them along with some handy links and descriptions. Enjoy!
Mech Queens and the Twelve Kaiju
This is a solo card game played with a standard deck. You play as four women piloting a mech (and they are in love, this is important).
You'll also need four dice, with two options: 4d6 or 2d6 + 1d4 + 1d8. What's the difference? Well, the first one makes each queen interchangeable, but it's much easier to find 4d6 in the wild. The second one allows you to basically have a weaker and a stronger polycule member, so you'll have to make strategic decisions on who tanks the damage of the kaiju.
Check the whole ruleset for free! It's a great way to pass the time and I personally like to roleplay and try to get all four of them to live. Y'know, for love.
Rock & Roll
A Laser & Feelings hack. It's a TTRPG!
You are an underground punk rock band. Your mission is to explore the underground music scene of the City, create powerful music, and defend the rebellious spirit of your community against those trying to steer their energy onto reactionary bullshit. Your old mentor and community organizer, Che, has been framed for a crime, leaving you to care for the community while they await trial.
I wrote this in about two hours and thought I should share.
Break a Leg
A work in progress. It's a text-based game about playng Hamlet in a school play, but oh no! You forgot your lines!
Now you have to improvise, either by trying to keep the play on track or completely changing it.
Fun fact: the abridged version of Hamlet I'm using is made by Ica Macazo at Compact Shakespeare! Ms. Macazo and CS gave me permition to use it and I swear, their lovely email is half the reason I'm so determined to finish this game.
